Behind BellaVision

Isabella Bonelli

I've always loved picking up a camera. Growing up, I spent countless hours recording made-up dances and skits with my younger sister, using the camera as a way to connect and create together. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by how film has the power to capture a moment in a way nothing else can.

I attended Howell High School as part of the Fine and Performing Arts Program, focusing on video and audio production. It was there that I refined my skills, taking my childhood recordings and shaping them into imagery with technique, intention and style.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Photography in May 2025 from Ithaca College, where I expanded my knowledge across all aspects of video production and developed my creative voice. I produced, directed, and edited my thesis film, My Grandma Rose, capturing my 88-year-old grandmother as she recounted her life experiences after immigrating to the United States. Through that film, I rediscovered the power of media to preserve moments, stories, and people. That experience inspired me to create BellaVision where I can use photography and film to help others preserve the moments that matter most.​​​
